Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

Serves: 4-6
  • 4 large cloves garlic, minced 4
  • ½ cup liquid honey 125 mL
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce 45 mL
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice 45 mL
  • 2 tbsp gingerroot, minced 30 mL
  • 3 lb TURKEY wings (wing tips removed) 1.5 Kg
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds toasted 15 mL
  1. In deep baking dish or large resealable plastic bag combine garlic, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice and gingerroot.
  2. Add turkey wings and marinate overnight.
  3. Remove wings from marinade and place in large baking pan; reserve marinade. Bake uncovered, in 400 deg. F (200 deg. C) oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Drain off excess fat.
  4. In small saucepan, bring marinade to a boil. Boil gently for 3 to 4 minutes or until slightly thickened; pour over wings. Increase oven to 475 deg. F (240 deg. C), bake wings for 10 minutes or until sticky and golden brown, turning several times. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
